Its in a great location next to a mall and residents, its got two entrances one on the mall side and the other were the bus loop is . The bus loop itself its very handy too . There are food goodies types of shops here . There is a parking lot but its drop off and pick up only . There are some places to sit on the platform area.
A little difficult to navigate if transferring to or from the westbound Millennium Line train and any other train. But overall thoughtfully designed. Elevators accessible for all platforms via all three entrances.
The entire plaza smiles delicious 😂😂 you can find almost all kind of Korean restaurants. Shopping at Hannam Supermarket for authitic Korean, Japanese, & Chinese products at very attractive price gotta be something you shouldn't miss....needless to mention the "weekend special". …
It's a bit confusing with the two entrances but you'll get used to it.
One is the mall access and the other is the bus loop.
After coming home from abroad, I realized our Translink is nothing compared to other countries. Taiwan for example already had bullet trains, and have 5 train lines while we only 2 (not including evergreen).
We don't have any washrooms or even attendants! The transit there is super clean and tidy. Comparing us to other countries is a bit disappointing, but hopefully someday we will get there too.
Convenient link bus and sky train, from Langley, Surrey with Vancouver, Port Moody and others, really helpful, for improv the cleaning process
1) There needs to be more trains to waterfront.
2) The fact that the VCC-Clark train is on the other side and you have to go up and down the escalators/stairs is so annoying and disorienting. I always get so confused… Transferring is so much more simple at Production Way-University.
Lougheed used to be my home station many years ago. The triple platform layout works, although it can still be a little bit of a hassle transferring from platform 3's inbound Millennium Line trains to platform 1's outbound Expo Line trains. The station design is very modern and looks awesome. The location is safe and I have never witnessed any crime after so many years.
Train station is great, but you can't park anywhere nearby (pay or free) for more than 4 hours. Terribly thought out, since the mall next door has an incredible amount of parking that doesn't get used. The town should work out a deal with them.
Too many switches for the trains. The junction could serve the same services with 3 less switches
This skytrain station has a very interesting buy one, get one policy. You buy your own pass for hundreds of dollars, and someone behind you gets in for free! They just get to walk in after you tap your card and they walk through the same gate.
